The Culture Clash (second Edition) by Jean Donaldson -- Excellent. Everyone living with a dog should read this valuable tool in teaching perspective and training technique.
How to Teach a New Dog Old Tricks by Dr. Ian Dunbar -- Written by the founder of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a very experienced and innovative dog trainer himself. Great tips for training technique and good humor as well.
Bones Would Rain from the Sky by Suzanne Clothier -- Great relationship building advice. Also helps you gain the proper dog-friendly perspective.
